Vision
To empower our customers to seamlessly grow with our platform by providing a frictionless, self-service marketplace where they can discover, evaluate, and instantly activate the features and integrations they need, right when they need them.
Problem Statement
Our current tiered model (Core, Fleet, Enterprise) contains a rich set of capabilities, many of which are not included in a customer's base plan. The process for a customer to upgrade their tier or purchase an "add-on" feature is entirely manual, requiring them to contact our Sales or Support teams.
-
For the Customer: This process is slow, creates friction, and makes it difficult to discover the full potential of our platform. They cannot easily act on an immediate business need without a multi-step, human-gated process.
-
For the Business: This friction leads to missed revenue opportunities from undiscovered or un-purchased add-ons. It also places an operational burden on our internal teams to manually quote and provision these services.
Proposed Solution
We will design and build an In-App Marketplace directly within our product. This marketplace will serve as a centralized hub for all purchasable add-ons and third-party integrations. It will provide a user-friendly, "app store" like experience that allows account administrators to:
-
Browse all available features and services.
-
Clearly understand the value and pricing of each offering.
-
Instantly purchase and activate simple add-ons.
-
Initiate a seamless upgrade to a higher tier when required for certain features.
Goals & Success Metrics
The primary goal is to drive new expansion revenue and improve customer satisfaction. We will measure success by tracking:
-
Revenue: Increase in Expansion MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) from self-service add-on purchases and tier upgrades.
-
Adoption: Number of add-ons activated via the marketplace per month.
-
Efficiency: Reduction in support tickets and sales inquiries related to "How do I add feature X?".
-
Satisfaction: Feedback from customers on the ease of use of the new marketplace.
